Why can't Windows open my iPhone photos?
iPhones save photos in HEIC format by default. It keeps files small with great quality, but many Windows apps, older software, and web forms only accept JPG. Converting to JPG makes your photos work everywhere.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion runs entirely inside your browser. This site has no file upload endpoint. You can verify this yourself: open DevTools, go to the Network tab, and convert a photo. You will see zero file traffic.
Can I convert many photos at once?
Yes. Drop as many HEIC files as you like. Each converts in sequence, then grab everything in a single ZIP with one click.
Does converting reduce photo quality?
JPG is a lossy format, but at the default 90% quality the difference is invisible to the eye. If you need smaller files for a form, try our Compress to KB tool after converting.
